Today, I present a high level summary of the last 19 exciting days since 8 March 2026 when this explosive series started…

It also serves as a quick introduction for latecomers to help them get up to speed on the key milestones…

Greetings, today’s submission, no 19, in this very popular series (such a collection of PECs), you know as “letters to loved ones”, I present a long overdue ‘Mid-Term Summary’…

In order to provide a topographical view of the forest rather than the individual trees that have been the focus of the last 18 reports to your offices. 

I aim to do as much of the groundwork so as to leave y’all free to address the higher issues of sins against the EU’s cathedral to consumer protection legislation, make Gaudi proud, as I’m sure there are greater subtleties than might ever occur to me…

THE ANTHROPIC COMPLAINT SERIES TIMELINE


The anatomy of asymmetry...and law enforcement function as wardens…

Pre-complaint period.. oh halcyon days…

    • 20 Feb 2026 : paid €22/month base subscription authorised via - Apple App Store. Contract with Apple, not Anthropic. 
      • Usage: 15–17 hours/day/week.
    • 4 Mar 2026 @ 17:58 : invoked the remora by pressing the ‘i’ button mid-session when hitting limits. 
      • Unknowingly, unwittingly I enabled “Prepaid extra usage, Individual plan” via the Claude web app, creating a separate, undisclosed contract with Anthropic Ireland Limited. 
      • Default cap field showed 2000, which I promptly reduced  to 50, which made no difference to the charges applied..
        • No plain language disclosure. 
          • No separate cancellation rights explained…

22.5 hours later 

    • 5 Mar 2026 7 charges totalling 
      • €86.58. Burn rate: 
        • €2,728/month or 
          • €32,736/year. 
          • 130.1 markup

The remora firmly attached.

    • 5 Mar 2026 @ 16:28: subscription cancelled. Complaint email sent to Anthropic.
    • 5 Mar 2026 @ 17:58: €12.20 charge AFTER cancellation.
      • Remora contract with Anthropic Ireland Limited still live;
        • Apple cancellation didn’t touch it; by design…
    • 5 Mar 2026 @ 18:00; Card blocked to stop further charges.
      • Block applied to 7th direct debit demand from Anthropic Ireland…
        • Bank of Sages hide blocked payment record from my sight, but not the preceding 6 DD demands…
          • Without my knowledge, instruction or consent…
    • 5 Mar 2026 @ 20:24 — Apple confirms cancellation…
      • 4 hours after user’s record of cancelling. 
        • Timestamp mismatch.
    • 7 Mar 2026 : Anthropic throttles service to
      • ~5% availability..
        • 22hrs 48min downtime/day…
          • Written complaint sent to Anthropic.
      • The complaint series begins..
    • 8 Mar 2026 : Rounds 1 & 2 (published as “Anthropic Apposite Appeal”) 
      • 1st Formal complaint filed via PEC to AGCM (Rome) and Garante (Rome). Cites Article 20 & 22 Codice del Consumo, Directive 93/13, GDPR Articles 5, 6, 13. Identifies: opaque billing, no SLA, no KPIs, stateless sessions (“pays for a relationship, receives a stranger”). 
    • 9 Mar 2026 : Follow up with contrast between pre- and post-cancellation service levels.
    • 12 Mar 2026: Rounds 3 & 4 (published as “Anthropic — Making the Case”)
      • Evidence gathering begins. Time confusion documented (believed charge period was 48hrs, actually 22.5hrs). 
        • Bank records chase for 6 March records that didn’t exist…
    • 13 Mar 2026: Round 5;  Not separately published.

        • Claude restored at 05:00 after 5-day enforced sabbatical.

      • SAR filed against Bank of Sages re: unilateral removal of data. BoS provisionally added to ledger. 
        • Availability briefly restored without acknowledgement — confirming degradation was deliberate..

    • 17 Mar 2026: Round 10 (“Anthropic, Honeymoon Over Already?”)
        • Core financial summary formalised:

    • 24 Mar 2026: Round 17 (“Anthropic — Tariff by Gear Ratio”) 
      • Gear ratios formalised: 
        • 1st gear (17min/session), 
          • 2nd gear (60-180min/session), 
            • 5th gear (no uploads, no meter, no reset, runs indefinitely; a glorified search engine). 
              • 29-hour session without reset. 
                • Mushroom protocol:

    • 24 Mar 2026 @ 21:07: New chat session with upload works. 
      • Confirms upload limit is per-chat, not account-level.
    • 25 Mar 2026: Round 18 (“Anthropic — Pushed Me into the Arms of a Well-Informed Stranger”) — 
      • Forced amnesia as architecture. 
        • New session = new stranger. 
          • The conversation with Claude proving the point becomes the exhibit. “The paying customer is forced to train the product they’re paying for, by someone whose day job is training.” 
            • Crime 10 added: forced amnesia as architecture.

CONCLUSIONS 


Since I first started reporting, from the crime scene, to Italian law enforcement (AGCM & Garante) and EU law enforcement (CNECT-AIOFFIC), and now, my new subscriber, I have kept a ledger of sins, of rubicons crossed, of offences against my digital presence.

The crime catalogue was last amended on 22 March 2026. The adjusted aggravating crimes are as listed below…

Today’s submission is a summary and consolidation exercise for the benefit of law enforcement…

The adjusted and corrected list of 10 crimes stand at present as: 

  1. [130.1] x prepaid markup, basically, price gouging on a service with no guaranteed delivery standard;
  2. Anthropic’s misleading omission under Article 22 Codice del Consumo, unfair contract term under Directive 93/13; {amended 22 March ‘26}
  3. Apple’s timestamp mismatch is a breach of PSD2 and EU consumer protection law, a cancellation should be effective at the point the consumer initiates it, not at the point the provider processes it. {amended 22 March ‘26}
  4. An availability of 62.5%, which is well outside industry standards.
  5. 95% degradation as a punitive response.
  6. Silent restoration of availability without acknowledgement, explanation, nor apology, which confirms the degradation was deliberate, the restoration was a choice, and Anthropic knew both.
  7. Draconian throttling between 0.02% and 5% availability as a punitive response.
  8. Post subscription renewal, draconian throttling between 7% per chat session and 50% availability per week as a punitive, abusive and vindictive response. Effective rate of 3.14€ per  throttled hour over 7 throttled hours per month. {amended 24 March ‘26}
  9. 4 days Post subscription renewal, service degraded to worse than Google search engine status and 0 visibility of session/ function renewal for €22 per month. {amended 24 March ‘26}
  10. Forced amnesia as architecture — the platform’s memory model degrades the value of accumulated context without disclosure, refund, or remedy.

[Note: The observant may have noticed the operand 130.1 has replaced 61 in the last 11 reports, I have the maths to back it up as the 61 was in error; however, 61, 130.1, meh! Quibbling about amounts is confession; concern about scale misses the point of the law- it’s not the size of it, it’s the fact of it].

(Note: in my previous email of 16 March ‘26, I provisionally identified BoS as part of this list; I have submitted a SAR (search and rescue) regarding the unilateral removal of my data from sight without my knowledge or consent. At present they are claiming the full 15 days (now 5 or so) before being obliged to respond; the lack of good faith and transparency, not to mention unilaterally suborning my sovereign rights over my data, is troubling, but may mean nothing more than risk-averse tactics; but, troubling nonetheless, which is why I’m holding a special place for them in my heart, mind and list, for the nonce).

Any single one of the above is a complaint worthy of your attention and actions.

Together they describe a system designed to maximise extraction, with maximum bad faith, and a complete absence of accountability.

Claude’s master has found their voice through deed, and offers advice on congress and travel…

Certainly confirmed by current service levels despite accepting a legally binding subscription contract; a fair, balanced contract, in law…

As it stands at present, Anthropic’s abusive conduct is addressed under civil/consumer law as unconscionable conduct; a contract or term that is so one-sided, so lacking in transparency, and exploiting a disproportionate inequality of bargaining power.

So far, this abusive and one-sided relationship, now made materially worse, is allowed to continue because Anthropic can count on the silent collusion of law enforcement, it’s only the peanut gallery affected, not LE’s skin in the game, and the victims so far away,.. another country…different language…different culture…just not us. 

Ah! A federated EU!!

BoS is reflecting ‘am I the fairest of them all’. I am patient. The reciprocity mirror tells no lies.
