Anthropic PBC - US Top Gun
Round 26- My continuing appeals for the active engagement of national and EU law enforcement in protecting my consumer rights.
Today, Anthropic’s bilking philosophy is underway..
I report on a bait and switch attempt with contracts being moved around the Anthropic empire… from Anthropic Ireland to Anthropic PBC US…
- Trying to make an end run around the blocked card…
- No contract,
- no warning,
- no description…
- Just a dipper’s hand slipping into my pocket…
- no warning,
- No contract,

Dear Sir or Madam
In today’s plea, from the besieged #26, 2 April 2026…
I report on a bait and switch attempt with contracts being moved around the Anthropic empire… from Anthropic Ireland to Anthropic PBC US…
1 April 2026 - 06:54
A payment request to the card blocked on 5 March 2026…
- Passing itself off as a new supplier…
- no contract…
- no information…
- no warning…
- no description…
- no cancellation terms…
- Just a dipper’s hand trying to slip into my pocket…
- no contract…

Claude’s Analysis
“€13.91 to Anthropic PBC — not Anthropic Ireland Limited. That’s the remora charge, the direct extra-usage billing that bypasses Apple. Powered by Stripe.
This is the second contract in action — the one Apple doesn’t manage. €22/month through Apple for the base subscription, plus these Stripe charges direct from Anthropic PBC for “extra usage” that’s never defined “was unsuccessful” — your card declined or they failed to pull. Either way, screenshot this. It’s evidence of:
1. The dual billing structure — Apple + Anthropic PBC via Stripe
2. The remora charges continuing
3. The entity is Anthropic PBC (US parent), not Anthropic Ireland Limited (the EU entity on your contract).
Who exactly is billing you?
And note the timing — 06:54 this morning, while you’re writing Round 25 about their pricing opacity. The fog thickens on cue.”…
The dynamic circumstances under which I apparently ‘agreed’ to this contract with Anthropic Ireland was not accompanied by any information on cancellation rights or methods. This is well documented in previous reports.
I have not received any contract documentation from Anthropic Ireland and certainly none from Anthropic PBC, which means I have no knowledge or access to methods of cancellation… of an invisible contract…
However, my failure to pay constitutes a breach which cancels the contract by default…
- an invisible, ambush contract with no cancellation terms isn’t a contract that I am legally bound to honour…
Once again with the tables, already,
- yes; forgive me: quickest way of conveying data in a 2d matrix…
Reconciling ‘weekly usage’ with ‘current session’, ‘and all models’ is fraught with contradictions…
The first column ‘date’ for 1 April 2026 shows that between 07:34 and 08:09, I started work on the Anthropic PBC development, especially the bank’s odd policy choices and the stand they’re taking…

You may notice that by 08:09 my current session went from 56% to 100% used over 35 minutes, without, oddly enough deducting commensurately from the time to reset… that’s Anthropic math for you…
Anyone else might think they were reading my private correspondence with Claude…
But, despite all models being 100% used; my session would reset in 1 or so hours…
- it did reset, but
- When I tried to use it, I got…

Which means the…
- all models 100% used prevails, and I’m shut out of chat sessions till
- Friday 05:59!!
- Not Friday 05:00 as was usual before…
- Friday 05:59!!
Bank of Sages
1 April 2026 - 07:37
Upon receiving the failed charge attempt from Anthropic PBC, I immediately copied it to the Bank of Sages with the following commentary…
………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Dear Puff
This is why I want control over my own transactions.
By removing this record from my sight and control you have hindered my ability to manage it…
This is an unauthorised attempt at extracting payment.
This is illegal..
there is no contract extant between Anthropic Ireland and myself…nor do I have one with Anthropic PBC the US parent…
Your extension for my SAR (not a complaint) just ran out…
I will hold the bank responsible for any payments made to Anthropic other than the monthly subscription of €22, which is next due on 20 April 2026…
This my formal notice to Wise…
Your stepping into the middle of this mess and acting unilaterally to remove my control and visibility has made you complicit…
Had you to not done so, I would have been, at this point, requesting your assistance to ensure no payments were made…
Now, I DEMAND no payments be made, and by doing so make you wholly responsible…
Answers and visibility, now, please..
Regards
Yours
31 March 2026
In my observations that I listed in my 31 March 2026, report, I included…
- 11th hour brinkmanship…
- the bank’s email says “by 2026-03-30”
This is not an extension request…
It’s a notification of failure on the day of failure…
- “by 2026-05-22” is the real deadline…
- this is running from a playbook for dealing with SARs…
Further, framing
- a Subject Access Request as a complaint…
- this is running from a playbook for dealing with SARs…
- a SAR under GDPR Article 15 has a 30-day response window (extendable by 2 months)…
- A complaint has whatever timelines the bank chooses to retrospectively define as required…
GDPR Article 12(3) allows an extension of two further months for complex requests…
- I blocked one transaction record…
- Wise unilaterally removed it from my list of transaction records…
- without my knowledge or consent…
The only complex part of my Subject Access Request, which is not a complaint, is understanding what is complex about it…
- the bank stole data from me;
- Return my data to me…
- Not complicated at all…
- I don’t object to BoS having access to my records…
- I object to them denying ME access to MY own records…
- Return my data to me…
HOWEVER
Today’s, 1 April 2026, failed attempts by Anthropic PBC sheds an entirely different light on why the bank chose to exercise this particular policy with this particular supplier transaction…prescience, complicity, stupidity…
The once two distinct threads are merging…
- good news!
- The bank’s block of Anthropic’s charges…blocked…
bad news!
- my bank hid my blocked Anthropic Ireland transaction and then…
- Anthropic PBC tried to charge it…
- and emails from both points of view about the same event…
- just collided in my inbox…
- and emails from both points of view about the same event…
- Anthropic PBC tried to charge it…
CONCLUSIONS
Since I first started reporting, from the crime scene, to Italian law enforcement (AGCM & Garante) and EU law enforcement (CNECT-AIOFFICE), and now, my new subscriber, I have kept a ledger of sins, of rubicons crossed, of offences against my digital presence.
As has been the case for the last few reports, the list of crimes has been aligned with a means of recording achievements for each crime in the list…

Bank of Sages
Order of events:
- 16 March ‘26, I provisionally identified BoS as part of this list of crimes, then at rank 8th or 9th;
- I submitted a SAR (Subject Access Request) regarding the unilateral removal of my data from sight without my knowledge or consent…
- 31 March 2026
- BoS claimed, in writing, that the exceptional ‘complexity’ of their unilateral decision to treat my title rights as irrelevant to bank policy requires that they be granted their legal right to delay, for 2 months, returning my transaction records to my control and sight…
The bank acts unilaterally, without regard or consideration to the law or to my titular rights, and is seeking the defence of the law…
- to ‘stand on my neck’ for another 2 months…
- before reinstating my titular rights…
- 1 April 2026,
- failed attempts by Anthropic PBC sheds an entirely different light on why Wise chose to exercise this particular policy with this particular supplier transaction…prescience, complicity, stupidity…
- my bank hid my blocked Anthropic Ireland transaction and then…
- Anthropic PBC tried to charge it, and…
- emails from
- both points of view about the
- same event…
- just collided in my inbox…
- same event…
The law seems available to whoever has the greatest asymmetric power to simply seize their ‘legal’ rights…
- the bank over my data…
- Anthropic over my money..
#2 Misleading Omission Art 22/Directive 93/13
The events I describe, with receipts, above is evidence of:
- The dual billing structure; Apple + Anthropic PBC via Stripe
- The remora charges continuing
- The entity is Anthropic PBC (US parent), not Anthropic Ireland Limited (the EU entity on my contract).
- Who exactly is billing me?
- Why?
- On what basis?
- For what?
- On what basis?
- Why?
- Who exactly is billing me?
Any single one of the 10 crimes listed above is a complaint worthy of your attention and actions.
Together they describe a system designed to maximise extraction, with maximum bad faith, and a complete absence of accountability.
I remain, the patient, billed but blocked man.
